U of S professors verifying predictions fifty years after landmark study

Professors David Natcher (College of Agriculture and Bioresources) and Rose Olfert (Johnson-Shoyama Graduate School of Public Policy) have been awarded $73,656 by the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council to investigate the social, economic and environmental changes that have occurred in the Maple Creek region of Saskatchewan over the past 50 years.

JSGS students and faculty participate in ITraP One Health symposium

Held June 10-11, the first Integrated Training Program in Infectious Disease, Food Safety and Public Policy (ITraP-IDFP) symposium, One Health: Maintaining a Healthy Planet, brought together researchers, practitioners, and graduate students from all over the world to discuss pathogen-host interplay, emerging diseases, new vaccines, animal health and ecology, and public policy.

JSGS student awarded $105K to further his work on accountability, behaviour and trust in the public sector

Travis Reynolds, PhD candidate at the Johnson-Shoyama Graduate School of Public Policy (JSGS) University of Saskatchewan campus has been awarded a Joseph-Armand Bombardier Canada Graduate Scholarship by the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council (SSHRC), totaling $105,000 over three years, to further his work on accountability, behaviour and trust in the public sector.
