Twyla MacDougall joins the Johnson-Shoyama Graduate School of Public Policy (JSGS) after a distinguished 30-year career with Saskatchewan Public Service. During this tenure, Twyla has cultivated extensive expertise in project management, the consolidation and integration of business processes, financial management, and change management. Accountability and integrity are important to Twyla, and she holds the Certified Professional Accountant Designation.
From 2016 to 2024, Twyla served as Deputy Minister for Parks, Culture, and Sport. Twyla oversaw a diverse portfolio encompassing executive management of Saskatchewan’s provincial parks, the Royal Saskatchewan Museum, and legislative oversight for the Saskatchewan Lotteries and Lottery Trust Fund responsible for provincial culture and sport initiatives. Additionally, Twyla held responsibility for the Francophone Affairs Branch and the Status of the Women Office.
